Vice-President (Member of the Executive Committee)
- Act with the authority of the President when the President is absent
- Partner with the President & Executive Director on all matters of interest to our members
- Perform duties assigned by the President
- Become knowledgeable of how a manufactured housing community on leased land forms a HOA and with the assistance of the President, help with the process
- Promote the importance of a HOA becoming a member of DMHOA
Membership Chairperson (Member of the Board of Directors)
- Create & implement plans for the growth of DMHOA in all three counties
- With the assistance of the Treasurer notify current members of their renewal due date
- Contact lapsed members to evaluate and with the assistance of the board respond to unmet needs.
County Representative ( one each for Kent, New Castle & Sussex)
- Attend county commissioner meetings, developing relationships where possible.
- Keep the DMHOA board apprised of issues affecting both members & non-members
- Represent DMHOA at community HOA meetings periodically, passing on to the board any issues that require further action or attention.
- Offer suggestions to the DMHOA board of state legislative or agency needed action based on input from their member HOAs.
- Stay current with legislation affecting homeowners living on leased land, especially Title 25, Chapter 70.
- Become knowledgeable of how a manufactured housing community on leased land forms a HOA.
